Married at First Sight expert Pastor Calvin Roberson believes Michael Watson had checked out of his marriage to Meka Jones well before "Decision Day."

During the April 15 broadcast of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, a Season 10 clip aired of Michael choosing one of two lunches packed when he went on a picnic with Meka following the couples' retreat.

"I feel like simple things Michael can do to show he cares, he skip every opportunity," Meka complains in the clip. "He just gave me what he didn't want!"

On Unfiltered, Pastor Cal said in response to the clip, "I think Michael is being ridiculous."

"I think he's checked out," Pastor Cal insisted.

"He seems to be completely indifferent here, and indifference is probably the worst state to be in because it says, 'I don't value you.' And anything you don't value, you don't take care of."

Pastor Cal said he's been "married for years" and would never behave the way Michael did.

"If I have food, it's like, 'Here, honey.' I mean, that's just a basic thing that you do! But [Michael]'s over there doing the 'food happy dance' while he's eating chocolate pudding, like, 'I got pudding!' Give your wife what she wants!"

Meka joined Pastor Cal on the Unfiltered episode, and the show host Jamie Otis asked Meka whether she thought Michael's actions were "intentionally meant to diss" her.

"I don't think it was intentional," Meka replied. "I just think he doesn't think about me. I think he's just a selfish person a lot of times."

Jamie followed that up with a question on whether Michael's "selfish" behavior was a consistent pattern and "an ongoing act" in her relationship and viewers just didn't notice it.

"Or is this something new?" Jamie asked.

"No, this is definitely an ongoing act. He does inconsiderate things like that all the time," Meka insisted.

Meka went on to cite an example from a day she and Michael had spent together in their apartment.

"We were filming and he literally baked a cake, or like, cupcakes. And he offered some to everybody on production and not me," Meka claimed.

"Literally. He was going around saying, like, 'Hey, do you want some cake?! Do you want some cake?' And I was like, 'Michael, that is something simple. Why wouldn't you offer me some?' And he was like, 'Oh, I didn't make a lot of it.'"

"Wow!" Pastor Cal said, as Jamie had a look of shock and disbelief on her face.

"Yeah, and he'll walk in a room and won't say, 'Hi,' to me," Meka continued.

"He'll speak to everybody on production but won't say anything to me. Like, that is what I've been dealing with! He's not considerate, at all."

Meka said while these aren't "big things" to complain about, the little things can add up.

"These aren't dealbreakers, and I'm not saying that they are," Meka noted. "But there are things Michael could do to show me that he actually wants to be in this marriage."

As shown on Married at First Sight's tenth-season "Decision Day" episode that aired on Wednesday night, Meka said the biggest problem in her eight-week marriage was Michael's dishonesty, and she feared his habit of telling lies might never change.

All Meka wanted was the truth, but Michael had accepted responsibility for his lies and promised to become a better and more vulnerable and open man.

The couple therefore made progress in the last few days of the experiment.

However, Meka chose to get a divorce from Michael, although Michael had apparently been hoping to stay married.

When Meka revealed her final decision, she said the past eight weeks had been "extremely challenging" and "really hard."

"This process has forced me every single day to look at every day like a new day and to be open. But I think for me overall, there has just been way too much deception. There's so many things I'm unsure about. I still don't feel like I know who my husband is."

Meka therefore came to the conclusion, "I still don't know who he is as a person. And honestly, I don't know how much of what he's told me is true and how much of it is not true. So for that reason, I do want a divorce."

Michael put a hand over his face and closed his eyes, and he looked extremely upset and shocked.

"For me, I don't believe in divorce," Michael said, wishing he had been straightforward with Meka earlier on. "I'm disappointed... [but] I have to live with the consequences of that."

Meka told the cameras after their final meeting with Married at First Sight's experts, "I don't think who Michael said he was and who he actually is are the same person. Michael lied to me on the wedding night, and he's been lying to me ever since."

"But I don't regret getting married at first sight because I've grown... I'm coming out a much stronger person and a better person," she added.

Married at First Sight star Taylor Dunklin also chose to get a divorce from Brandon Reid, but two couples opted to stay married: Katie Conrad and Derek Sherman as well as Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd.

The season's fifth couple, Mindy Shiben and Zach Justice, had decided to divorce nearly two weeks before "Decision Day."
