Married at First Sight alum Erik Lake and wife Logen Lake have taken their relationship to new heights by becoming parents.

The pilot and Logen's hearts are soaring, as they recently announced the birth of their baby girl.

Logen took to Instagram last week and posted a video of the couple's gender reveal as well as their first moments in the hospital with their newborn child.

Logen revealed in the caption that she and Erik named their daughter Vera Isabel Lake, who was born on January 3 at 4:21PM. The little bundle of joy weighed 8 pounds and measured 20 inches long.

"our hearts are full because God is faithful," Logen captioned her post.

Logen apparently suffered a miscarriage in 2024 and then went through three canceled IVF transfers due to unexpected cysts.

"With each 'no' I felt heavier. I started preparing my heart to let go of IVF and looked further into adoption, but we kept praying for God to guide our path," Logen revealed.

However, a doctor nudged the couple to try again, and so they decided not to give up all the while relying on their faith to get them through it.

"We are filled with overwhelming gratitude and joy, and owe all the glory to God. Our little one is not only a miracle, but a testament to His goodness and mercy," Logen wrote.

"We love you with all of our hearts, my Little Light."

Erik, for his part, posted a long message about how he's so happy to have Vera in his life now.

"We are so overjoyed to have her here with us and she's doing great! I've never experienced an instant love quite like that other than when I knew my wife was my soulmate," Erik wrote on Instagram last week.

He continued, "I've wanted to be a dad for so long and now my prayers have been answered! I want to thank my wife [Logen] for everything she has endured over the last few years to give us this miracle. She's the strongest person I know and was already the best mother before Vera was even born."

Erik said he can't believe that his baby is finally here, and he also thanked family, friends and fans for their "love and support."

Erik and Logen announced the pregnancy in late October 2025.

"We've been waiting for so long to share that baby Lake is cleared for takeoff at the end of the year!" Erik wrote at the time.

"Logen is 29 weeks today and our baby is due on January 4th to be exact. If you've been following Logen or I the last couple years then you may have seen that we've been on an IVF journey that's been a very emotional experience filled with so many highs and lows."

Erik went on to reveal, "Our first embryo transfer attempt unfortunately didn't work and the second tragically ended with a miscarriage at 13 weeks [in Summer 2024]. We were devastated and at times felt like all hope was lost. We turned to God and realized he had a path for us."

Erik said he and Logen did their "third attempt on Good Friday" in Spring 2025.

"I love and appreciate my wife even more than I ever knew I could because of what she has had to endure that last couple years," he shared.

"The pills, hormones, shots, eating habits, etc. Her full dedication and perseverance through all of it is something I can never repay back. I can only always try to be the best husband and father that I can be."

Erik and Logen got married in August 2023 at The Venue at Sharp Mountain in Jasper, GA, nearly six months after they announced their engagement.

"Went to Paris for croissants, came back with carats," the blonde travel nurse captioned her post in March 2023, which showed off her big diamond engagement ring.

In the pictures, Erik and Logen were posing at a coffee shop and in the streets of Paris wearing dressy black attire with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

Erik and Logen went Instagram official in October 2022.

"It's a crazy thing when you stop trying so hard to find your person and just let things play out the way they are supposed to," Erik shared at the time of Logen.

"The past is the past and I can't sit here and regret every little thing that happened before because all of it led me right where I'm supposed to be now. I'm the happiest I've ever been."

Prior to meeting Logen, Erik was married to Virginia Coombs. The pair wed as total strangers in August 2020 on Married at First Sight's twelfth season, which aired its Decision Day finale in May 2021 on Lifetime.

The couple subsequently appeared on Season 3 of Married at First Sight: Couples Cam, which premiered in June 2021.

But Erik and Virginia had already separated in April 2021 and filed for divorce in Georgia in June 2021.

"This entire process has been difficult as is without the constant chatter of public opinion. Contrary to popular belief, we've been together and trying to make our marriage work since Decision Day," the pair told E! News in a statement at the time.

"While we have decided to get a divorce, we aren't closing the doors on a possible future together. We love each other and will continue to navigate our new reality post show."

That summer, Erik and Virginia's Married at First Sight co-star Chris Williams alleged on his Instagram Stories that Virginia -- who had a reputation for being a party girl and drinking often during her MAFS season -- was a bad influence on her then-husband because Erik had received a DUI and completed a court-mandated rehab for 45 days.

Chris also alleged Virginia had traveled to Mexico while Erik was in rehab and attempted to have a threesome with her MAFS co-star Haley Harris' brother and his spouse.

Virginia and Erik were accused of faking their relationship for TV when rumors of their split surfaced in May.

Virginia lashed out at fans on Instagram saying she and Erik would "never fake" their relationship and social media had been very "toxic" to their marriage.

Virginia insisted she and Erik were still together after a person claimed to have seen her without a wedding ring at a bar, where she was allegedly "all over" another guy.

Virginia claimed -- only a month before the divorce filing -- that her ring never came off.

Erik was also previously married before his stint on Married at First Sight, and so Logen was his third marriage.

On Married at First Sight's twelfth season, Erik and Virginia had an immediate spark and got along great until they realized they had major differences such as their political beliefs and timeline for having a child.

Erik also wasn't exactly thrilled about Virginia's close relationship with her guy friends.

"He's sometimes too grown up," Virginia told the cameras on Decision Day. "Erik always thinks he knows best... I'd be lying if I said that I'm confident in where me and Erik are. I am a little scared about the next step in our relationship."

During the reunion special, Erik revealed that Virginia had moved into his apartment with her pets and was liking it just fine.

On the early June 2021 premiere episode of Couples Cam's third season, Virginia and Erik were shown traveling to Pennsylvania for a visit with Virginia's mother and sister six months into their marriage.

Virginia said she and Erik had grown closer together from the "scrutiny" and "heat" they were receiving online.
