WE tv has announced Season 2 of Mama June: From Not to Hot will premiere Friday, January 12 at 9PM ET/PT and feature the famous reality TV mom entering the pageant circuit.

After shocking the world with a dramatic weight loss of over 300 pounds thanks to surgery, nutrition and exercise, June will be back next year to showcase her new life as a thinner and healthier version of herself.

In the show's second season, June will experience a lot of firsts due to her transformation, including a new romance with a mystery man.

But June won't be experiencing all highs in her life. While competing for a crown in the pageant system, she will "lose herself," according to WE tv, and her daughter Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson will seek attention elsewhere from June's ex Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson and his new wife Jennifer.

Alana's behavior will "reignite the rivalry" between June, Sugar Bear and Jennifer, which will only intensify when Sugar Bear pursues increased visitation with Alana and Jennifer suspects Alana may not be Sugar Bear's biological child.

Meanwhile, June's daughter Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon and her boyfriend Josh are expected to grow up quickly since they have a baby on the way. The unexpected pregnancy results in Josh moving in, which in turn causes June and Pumpkin to butt heads.

"June soon realizes that her weight was the least of her problems as she now faces decisions that could potentially tear her family apart," the network teases. "Will the revelation of Pumpkin's secret pregnancy be too much for Mama to bear?"

Viewers will also find out whether June's budding romance fades due to her overprotective family and whether she is struggling to keep the weight off with diet and exercise.

WE tv announced it had renewed Mama June: From Not to Hot back in August.

Mama June: From Not to Hot's second edition is being produced by Thinkfactory Media, with Adam Freeman, Adam Reed, Moriah Muse, Erin Richards, Gina Rodriguez, Leslie Greif, Lauren P. Gellert, Lauren Lazin, and David Stefanou serving as executive producers.
