Fake wedding plans apparently aren't the only thing Vienna Girardi has made-up lately.

Playboy has denied the former The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love bachelor's recent claim that she'll appear on the cover of an upcoming issue of the men's magazine.

"This is the first we've heard of Vienna Girardi appearing on the cover of Playboy," a representative told OK! Weekly on Wednesday.

"We are not in negotiations with her and have not made her an offer."

Girardi -- who split from her The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love fiance Jake Pavelka early last week -- had told Star magazine she was going to be in Playboy in a recent interview.

"I am going to be on the cover of Playboy later this year," she told Star in the magazine's July 12 issue.

In addition, Girardi claimed her decision to appear in Playboy was financially driven.

"The Bachelor didn't pay me a dime, and I ran through my savings living with Jake," she told Star, adding she hoped to make $250,000 for the photo spread.

"I need the money. And I want to do something fun and happy for myself!"

Pavelka has stated that he initiated the split because Girardi sold her story to Star magazine, while she claims she dumped him because he had refused to be "intimate" with her for the last four months.

During her initial interview with Star, Girardi claimed that although they had repeatedly stated otherwise, she and Pavelka had never actually discussed marriage during their relationship.

"From the moment we got engaged, we never talked about the future, about a wedding, ever again," Girardi told Star in a cover-story interview in the magazine's July 5 issue.

"People were always asking us about it at events and stuff, and it was awkward, so we just made stuff up."

She said an example of their fake-wedding arrangements was when the couple was asked about their plans after Dancing with the Stars' live tenth-season finale and she told reporters she had purchased a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes for the ceremony.

"That was a lie! I didn't even buy the stupid shoes. I just wanted to have something to say when people kept asking us," she told Star. "Whenever I'd bring up the wedding to Jake, he'd just blow me off or ignore me or pick up his phone, like he always does."

A joint interview featuring the couple will air during next Monday night's The Bachelorette broadcast.
