Lamar Odom's next step to recovery is reportedly entering a rehabilitation center.

According to a source, Odom will be moved to a rehab center in Los Angeles so his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian and her family can be close to him as he works hard to improve his condition, Us Weekly reported.

"Khloe and [her mother Kris Jenner] decided to move Lamar to a rehab center in LA so they can all be closer to him," the source told Us.

Although Odom just woke up from his coma Friday morning after spending three days in the hospital on breathing machines from a drug overdose, he will likely be transferred to a rehab facility by the end of this week.

"He's still getting better little by little," the source added. "The doctors are starting to talk about plans for what happens when he gets out and that's how rehab came up, but he still has a ways to go."

Odom reportedly has a lot of support -- not only from his family and friends -- but from a team of medical professionals.

"It's all baby steps, very slow. Everything is going very slow," the source explained. "He's talking more. He's very slowly improving. It's going to be a struggle."

But regardless of how tough the road may be ahead, Kardashian 31, won't leave Odom's side.

"Khloe is committed to staying with him," the source insisted.

"Everyone is so happy he's alive but taking it very carefully (as you know anything can turn towards the worst again). It's a slow process but Khloe is there every step of the way, and her family is supporting her and Lamar's family is there too. It's all been so draining and emotional."
