Kylie Jenner has trendsetting style, especially when it comes to her hair and line of extensions, but her decision to sport cornrows isn't going over well on social media.

The 17-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star posted a photo of her cornrows hairstyle on Instagram Saturday, racking in more than 1.2 million likes and over 120,500 comments.

A debate began when The Hunger Games star, 16-year-old Amandla Stenberg who played little Rue, slammed Jenner for the look.

"When u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter," Stenberg was quoted as saying, according to E! News.

In reply, Jenner showed her feisty side.

"Mad if I do...mad if I don't. Go hang w Jaden or something," the reality TV star reportedly said.

Jenner was referring to mutual friend Jaden Smith who had taken Stenberg to her high school prom in May. Ironically, Stenberg had recorded a video called "Don't Cash Crop My Cornrows" earlier this year.

Jenner is known for constantly changing her hairstyle. She recently rocked long icy-blue locks from her own line of hair extensions.
