Krista Stegall, a Louisiana waitress at the time, got involved with Mike "Boogie" Malin, a bar owner, on Big Brother's second season after her showmance with Justin Sebik ended.
Once sparks began to fly, Krista and Boogie became inseparable in the house. During Big Brother's live second-season finale, Boogie actually proposed marriage to her, and she said yes!
However, it didn't take long for Krista and Boogie to split, as Krista revealed in early November 2001 they had called off their engagement.
The pair allegedly didn't see eye-to-eye when it came to opportunities for new TV projects that followed Big Brother.
Boogie later returned to Big Brother: All-Stars and won the season.
He also competed on Big Brother's fourteenth season as a coach and eventual player.
