After a year-and-a-half of court proceedings and legal battles over a 72-day marriage, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney & Kim Take Miami star reached a settlement with the NBA basketball player in advance of a Friday court hearing, TMZ reported.

A judge subsequently dissolved the marriage at the court hearing, pending the formal execution of divorce paperwork, according to TMZ.

Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries citing irreconcilable differences in October 2011 after the couple tied the knot in a heavily-promoted, two-night reality TV special which delivered huge ratings for E!.

Humphries subsequently claimed that Kardashian had married him on fraudulent grounds and insisted on an annulment, however she had refused -- sparking a lengthy legal battle in which Humphries reportedly failed to come up with proof to support his fraud allegations.

While the settlement terms will reportedly remain confidential, Humphries reportedly agreed to drop his annulment demand and will receive no money from Kardashian.  In addition, each party will reportedly be responsible for their own attorney's fees.

The divorce case had previously been scheduled go to trial on May 6.
