The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and recording artist have indeed named their new baby girl North West, TMZ reported Friday, citing a copy of the child's birth certificate obtained by the website. The certificate does not list a middle name.

Kardashian prematurely gave birth to Baby North -- who reportedly arrived in good health -- about five weeks early at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles early Saturday morning.  However the couple has been unusually tight-lipped since and has yet to reveal any details about the arrival -- including basic information like the infant's name or birth weight.

In Touch Weekly had reported Kardashian and West were still deciding on the baby's name as of Tuesday but North had emerged as the front-runner.

"North is at the top of the list of names," a source close to Kardashian told In Touch. "They're not totally sure about it. Kanye loves it, Kim is okay with it."

However, Kardashian's family members were reportedly not fans of the name.

"The family doesn't like it," the source said, adding that the couple was planning to settle on a name shortly. "They're going to decide by today [Tuesday]."

Kardashian had previously stated that the child's name was likely to begin with a "K."  In addition, she had also reportedly denied prior rumors that the couple was considering naming the child North during a March appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
