Khloe Kardashian has finally given the world what they've been waiting for after a week of speculation and sources leaking information about Lamar Odom's condition -- a statement in her own words.

The 31-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has been silent for exactly one week since Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel last Tuesday from an apparent drug overdose. Reports say Kardashian has remained at his side throughout it all and fully supports his long road to recovery.

"This past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their care, incredible strides have been made," Kardashian wrote on her website Tuesday morning.

"You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!! XOXO."

Odom was rushed into a Los Angeles-area hospital on a gurney Monday night, according to E! News, and he appeared to be sedated. As expected, Kardashian was reportedly right behind him accompanied by two bodyguards.

"She goes everywhere with him," an insider told E! News. "If Lamar leaves the room for testing, she follows."

"You can tell it's taking a toll on Khloe, but she is staying strong for Lamar," a source added.

Odom is reportedly speaking in full sentences now and can eat food on his own. However, he will need "a lot" of rehab in the near future as he battles aspiration pneumonia and kidney failure.

Kardashian has decided to take a break from her boyfriend James Harden in light of Odom's situation so she can give the former NBA star her complete attention, Us Weekly reported.
