Kesha's revelation that Dr. Luke had allegedly abused her sexually, physically and emotionally apparently isn't sudden and new because she had previously discussed the matter with her doctors.

According to sources connected with Kesha's lawsuit against her longtime music producer, the 27-year-old Rising Star judge and Kesha: My Crazy Beautiful Life star had talked to her doctors during rehab about the abuse she endured in her professional relationship with Dr, Luke, TMZ reported.

Kesha reportedly "spontaneously" opened up about Dr. Luke's alleged behavior when she had admitted herself into rehab in January for an eating disorder. She recalled stories of Dr. Luke allegedly drugging her, making passes at her and causing emotional damage by constantly calling her fat.

The doctors maintained their notes during these therapy sessions, TMZ reported, and they will be used in her lawsuit. Kesha was reportedly advised to avoid Dr. Luke at all costs or she might even lose her life.

As to why Kesha waited so long to come clean and didn't report Dr. Luke sooner, the pop singer allegedly felt she no longer had "free will" after enduring almost 10 years of abuse.

Dr. Luke, who denies all the accusations and in turn filed his own countersuit, has already responded to news Kesha's doctors have alleged evidence against him.

The Grammy-winning producer's lawyer Christine Lepera told TMZ, "That's preposterous. Just because someone says something to a doctor doesn't mean they weren't fabricated or part of an overall pre-planned campaign."

She continued, "Her statements are false. It is important to note that these are just the latest in a series of bizarre public statements and actions by Kesha and her mother over the years, including Kesha's claim her vagina is 'haunted,' her drinking her own urine on her reality show, and her mother dressing up as a penis on the television show."
