Kendall Jenner apparently relates more to her Jenner siblings than the Kardashian clan.

Kendall may be working as a high-fashion supermodel on and off the runway, but the 21-year-old beauty doesn't exactly obsess over her appearance.

"I was a huge tomboy," Kendall told Harper's Bazaar about her childhood during a recent cover-story interview. "I had a phase where I wore boys' clothes. I was always hanging out with guys. I've always connected with guys more."

Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner, however, all appear to be girly-girls. Her sisters have always been fashion-forward glamazons when it comes to hair, makeup and style.

"I've always been the different one," Kendall admitted. "I mean, I'm a girl and I like being a girl, but I've just never been into it like they have. I think I get that from my dad. I'd say I'm more of a Jenner than a Kardashian."

Kendall's dad Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, was an Olympic athlete who loved playing sports with her children and taking them on adventures.

And there's apparently another reason why Kendall probably views herself as the black sheep when it comes to the women in her family -- she loves her privacy and works hard to maintain it.

"Just 'cause I think it's powerful," said Kendall, who has been known to disappear from social media every now and then. "Plus, I think people always want what they can't have. It's nice to have some mystery."

But Kendall is rarely ever alone thanks to there being "a lot of creepy people out there."

After obtaining a restraining order against a stalker and hearing all about Kim's Paris robbery in which the mother of two was tied up at gunpoint in October 2016, Kendall has an armed security guard with her at all times. The guard makes the model feel safer, but at the same time, she's grown to dislike having constant company.

"I don't feel normal," Kendall confessed to the magazine, "and I like to feel as normal as I possibly can."

Kendall also experiences fits of anxiety, especially at night.

"I wake up in the middle of the night freaking out," noted the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star. "Full panic attacks. They wake me up from my sleep, and I need to stand up and I pace and I'm freaking out and crying."

As for the details of Kendall's love life, she wanted to keep her cards close to her chest. As if fans didn't already know this, the reality TV star said she's "not engaged" and "not marrying anyone."

"There's nothing long-term or serious like that in my life. If I'm not fully, fully in it with someone, why would I make it public to everyone else? If I don't even know what it is, why would I let the world know?" explained Kendall, who is rumored to be dating rapper A$AP Rocky after previously being linked to One Direction's Harry Styles and singer Nick Jonas.

"I think it's something sacred. It's something between two people, and nobody else's opinion needs to be involved in it. People want to start drama. If I had a boyfriend, people are going to say all this stuff that's probably going to cause us to break up."

Kendall declined to name any guy in particular she may be interested in, revealing that she's just "doing my thing," according to Harper's Bazaar. "I'm having fun. I'm being young."
