Kasey Kahl has denied he and girlfriend Vienna Girardi have split.

"We're just doing [our relationship] long distance right now. It's for the best," Kahl told Us Weekly in response to a Tuesday Life & Style report claiming the second-season Bachelor Pad couple recently broke up and moved out of their Los Angeles home and Girardi had moved back to Florida.

Girardi -- who was previously engaged to former The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love star Jake Pavelka -- and Kahl began dating eight months ago and moved in together in August.

Girardi told Us Weekly at the time that she and Kahl had "an amazing relationship," were really happy together and only fought when they weren't together because they hated being apart.

She also said they planned on eventually getting engaged but wanted to take their relationship "step by step."

Before appearing on Bachelor Pad's second season, Kahl fought for the heart of former sixth-season The Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky in 2010.
