"There's 1,000 times more drama, 1,000 times more fights, makeups, breakups," Farley told MTV News in a Wednesday report.

"We've become a bigger family, more close. It's overall 1,000 times better than the first season."

Jersey Shore's second season will premiere Thursday, July 29 at 10PM ET/PT on MTV and begin with the cast living in Miami since the installment started filming in April while it was still cold in New Jersey.

"Everything was amazing," Farley told MTV News about filming in South Beach. "We were [welcomed with] open arms. There was no drama, they loved us, so it was easy on us."

The cast subsequently returned to Seaside Heights -- the setting for the show's first installment -- for the second season's conclusion.

"I'm definitely a Jersey Shore kind of girl," Farley told MTV News. "I loved Miami. The clubs stay open later when it's all said and done. But Jersey Shore... you have to be on the Shore."

The first 10 minutes of Jersey Shore's second season will air during the MTV Movie Awards pre-show, which will air live on Sunday at 8PM ET/PT.
