Jamie Skaar is one of Michelle Young's 23 remaining bachelors on The Bachelorette's eighteenth season, which just premiered last week.

Michelle noted how Jamie had "some swag" to him as well as a positive attitude that she really liked and gravitated towards.
Jamie didn't waste any time during the season's first cocktail party and was the first man to pulled Michelle aside for a conversation after her toast.
The suitor had Michelle smiling and laughing, and he told the Bachelorette that she "smiles with her spirit." Michelle in turn said she felt very comfortable around Jamie and he put her at ease.
"Jamie is a catch... He has a great job, is extremely smart and has a healthy idea of exactly what he needs in a wife," according to ABC.
Michelle recently teased in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that Jamie received the first one-on-one date of the season.

Jamie Skaar has founded two Washington-based companies
Jamie is the founder and CEO of SanctuAire, which he founded in March 2020. He describes the company as "Next Generation Air Purification," adding that it provides "pure air for people that care."
Jamie also founded Sol Solutions Today in March 2015, for which he also serves as CEO.
The company's goal is to be the leader in Building Biology to teach homeowners how their home impacts their health and well-being.

The Bachelorette bachelor has a taste for all things and is the type of guy who will show up at the airport and let the ticketing agent decide his destination.
Jamie actually did this before and ended up enjoying an amazing week in Uruguay.
The suitor hopes to find a woman who will join him on his adventures
Jamie is looking for a life partner -- a woman who is independent, driven and always ready to head out for dinner at the newest local hot spot.
Jamie values new cultural experiences and making memories. He once traveled to Ecuador just to try their chocolate.

The bachelor previously studied in London
Jamie attended Richmond, The American International University in London, and studied International Business from 2009 to 2010.
He then transferred to the University of Washington, where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Psychology and Psycholinguistics. Jamie graduated from the university in 2011.
Jamie was not a fan of The Bachelor franchise prior to appearing on the show
Jamie never watched a season of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette or Bachelor in Paradise before competing on Michelle's season.
In fact, Jamie has never watched a single episode of reality TV in his life. He would prefer spending his free time playing his favorite game, chess, for example.
