The network has announced a new season of Intervention will premiere on Sunday, March 1 at 9PM ET/PT.

Original interventionists Jeff Van Vonderen, Candy Finnigan, Ken Seeley and Donna Chavous will all be returning to the show.

A&E's A&E Networks parent company had previously announced plans to revive Intevention on A&E's LMN sister network back in August.  However, Intervention's new episodes will instead now air on A&E -- which originally aired the series for 13 seasons before cancelling it in Summer 2013.

Intervention profiles people whose devastating addiction to drugs, alcohol or compulsive behavior has brought them to the edge and follows them as they are presented with the life-changing opportunity of an intervention and rehab.

Each episode follows uncontrollable addicts through their daily lives and shows how their dependency affects friends and family. Once the addicts are seemingly at the point of no return, their loved ones stage a surprise intervention conducted by a drug-addiction specialist in the hope they'll turn their lives around before it's too late.

Intervention is produced by GRB Entertainment with Gary R. Benz, Michael Branton, Jeffrey L. Weaver, Brad Holcman, and Laurie Sharpe serving as executive producers.
