The fifth season of Gordon Ramsay's culinary competition series will debut nearly a full year after it was filmed back-to-back with Hell's Kitchen's fourth edition, which the network aired last spring.

Fox also recently inked a new deal with Ramsay to keep the foul-mouthed British chef at the network for "several more years."

The agreement included Hell's Kitchen's sixth- and seventh-season renewals and Kitchen Nightmares' third-season renewal, as well as the pick-up of a third Ramsay series and a special.

Serving as the lead-in for Hell's Kitchen fifth-season episodes will be Bones, which will air in the Thursdays at 8PM ET/PT timeslot beginning January 15.

In addition to Hell's Kitchen's fifth season debut, Fox also announced American Idol's eighth season will premiere over the course of two consecutive nights on Tuesday, January 13 and Wednesday, January 14 -- with both two-hour broadcasts beginning at 8PM ET/PT.
