Cassandra Jean and husband Stephen Amell have welcomed a baby girl into their lives.

Jean, who was known as Cassandra Whitehead when she competed on America's Next Top Model's fifth season in 2005, gave birth to a daughter on October 15 and the couple named her Mavi Alexandra Jean Amell, Us Weekly reported.

"She came just in time for Amell Wednesdays," Amell, the 32-year-old star of The CW's Arrow television series, wrote on Facebook on Saturday.

Alongside the caption, Amell posted a photo of himself holding Mavi as they watched an episode of The CW's The Tomorrow People, a new series which his younger brother Robbie Amell stars in, on television from inside the couple's hospital room.

Jean, 27, and Amell announced in June they were expecting their first child together.

"I'm excited -- no I'm not excited, I'm very excited!" Amell told Us at the time. "I'm sure that nervous energy will accompany that eventually, but only in a positive way."

Added Jean, "I haven't had any cravings, but [Stephen's] been great."

The couple wed on Christmas Day in the Caribbean in 2012.

Jean quit America's Next Top Model in the fifth edition's fourth episode because she was disapproving of her makeover, which changed her long brown locks to a super short blonde hairdo.

Creator and judge Tyra Banks hoped to cut even more of her hair off once she saw the results, but Jean left the show before letting that happen.
