The rejected The Bachelor bachelorette and former Dancing with the Stars celebrity participant has signed on to be a special Entertainment Tonight correspondent, her representative told Us Weekly on Wednesday.

"She debuts on tonight's broadcast and is currently in L.A. working for them," her rep told Us. "She's going to stay in Dallas and fly in for special assignments."

Rycroft's first assignment was to cover Monday's "We Are the World" recording session in Los Angeles, according to Us, which added future assignments will include award shows, movie premieres and set visits.

Rycroft -- who married Ty Strickland in December -- has worked as a correspondent for ABC's Good Morning America for the past several months and also contributed to the network's 2010 Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest broadcast.
