NBC has announced it has renewed Food Fighters for a second season with new episodes returning to the network in Summer 2015.

The reality culinary competition, which pits amateur cooks against five professional chefs, will be hosted once again by Adam Richman. In the head-to-head faceoffs, the professional cooks will try to cook each contestant's best "family recipe" better than the amateurs.

The dishes will be critiqued and judged by "the dinner party," a group of everyday food lovers who will taste both creations in a blind taste test. The cash prize will grow as the contestants advance.

The series premiered in July 2014 and concluded its first season in September of last year. The episodes aired every Tuesday night at 8PM ET/PT on NBC.

Food Fighters is produced by Electus International.
