The comedian and daytime talk show host will "perform together" with fourth-season So You Think You Can Dance runner-up Stephen "tWitch" Boss in a "very special performance" during tonight's finale broadcast which will reveal the show's seventh-season champion, Fox announced Thursday.

"[It] broke my heart when Alex [Wong] had to drop out. Tonight, I do something and I hope it makes him smile," DeGeneres wrote in a Thursday afternoon Twitter posting.

"Don't miss the SYTYCD finale tonight. I'm going to do something special for Alex."

While Fox's announcement stopped short of stating the performance will be a dance routine, it will reportedly feature DeGeneres and Boss re-creating the Top 9 hip-hop routine Wong and Boss did during the season's Top 9 performance show and was taped after last night's So You Think You Can Dance show, according to reports.

DeGeneres' Fox appearance will take place exactly two weeks after the network announced her decision to "bow out" of her American Idol judging position and leave the show after just a single season.

In addition DeGeneres' performance, So You Think You Can Dance's seventh-season finale will also include additional performances by indie rock duo Black Gold, dance crew Quest Crew, British So You Think You Can Dance winner Charlie Bruce, and tap-dancing siblings the Manzari Brothers.

So You Think You Can Dance's two-hour finale will begin at 8PM ET/PT.
