A&E has announced Duck Dynasty: The Revival will premiere Wednesday, May 28 at 9PM ET/PT.

The Robertsons will be returning to TV after an eight-year hiatus.

Duck Dynasty: The Revival will air one-hour episodes for 10 consecutive weeks. Afterward, Season 2 -- which has already been ordered -- will air as 10 additional episodes.

A&E announced in January that Duck Dynasty: The Revival will debut this summer and feature nearly all of the Robertson family.

Duck Dynasty: The Revival will follow Willie and Korie Robertson as well as five of their six children -- including John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella and Rebecca -- and their grandchildren as they continue their family's work as duck hunters at their home in Louisiana.

The couple's son Rowdy is not listed as a member of the cast.

Although Phil Robertson has not signed on for the show, A&E confirmed that Phil's wife, Miss Kay Robertson, and brother, Si Robertson, will also appear on the series.

"As the family business expands beyond ducks, Willie and Korie bring their signature wit and down-home charm while they explore the future of [their business] Duck Commander, support their children through marriage, parenthood, and entrepreneurship, and work to keep their legacy alive," the network said in a statement.

"However, Willie quickly realizes that this next generation isn't as Robertson as he originally thought."

Duck Dynasty debuted in 2012 and ran for 11 seasons before wrapping in 2017.

At the time, Duck Dynasty starred Phil, Si, and three of his Phil's sons -- Willie, Jase and Jep -- as they ran Duck Commander.

Willie eventually stole the show with his kids Sadie and John Luke.

Sadie even competed on Dancing with the Stars' nineteenth season when she was 17-years-old. She and her pro partner Mark Ballas finished the competition in second place.

The original Duck Dynasty drew nearly 12 million viewers at its peak, becoming the most-watched non-fiction series in cable history. The Robertsons stepped away from the series in 2017 to pursue other interests.

Phil presumably chose not to star on Duck Dynasty's revival because he's been struggling with health issues as of late.

Phil's son Jase revealed Phil's health has been in decline during the April 3 episode of the "Unashamed with the Robertson Family" podcast.

"Tell you the truth, it hasn't been good," Jase shared. "I'm just giving the blunt truth. I'll say, 'Not good.'"

Jase added of his 78-year-old dad, "We're doing the best we can. So I think that's just what you do."

The Robertson family confirmed in December 2024 that Phil is in the "early stages" of Alzheimer's and has a blood disease as well as a fractured vertebrae in his back, according to Us Weekly.

Phil's wife Kay, however, has been on the rise ever since she fell in February and underwent surgery for her injuries.
