Diem Brown was honored by Chris "CT" Tamburello on Wednesday.

The late reality star's on-and-off boyfriend paid his respects with an emotional post on Instagram. Tamburello posted a picture of Brown's image next to a ring and rosary, and included a loving and lengthy photo caption.

"You have always been My Angel. And now you have your wings. We've been thru so much over the years. Thru the ups and downs we somehow managed to keep our promise. We never gave up on each other. Our plan to be together forever hasn't changed... it's just going to take a little longer now. And I'm going to hold onto this ring for you till we are together again. So don't worry mama, I'm not afraid. I know you will always be with me to give me your strength. You are The Love of My Life. My reason to be a better man. I Love You Always and Forever."

Brown died after a long battle with cancer at age 32 on Friday. She was known for competing on MTV reality competition "The Challenge," and participated in "Fresh Meat," "The Duel," "The Gauntlet III," "The Duel 2," "The Ruins and Battle of the Exes."

Brown and Tamburello met during "The Duel" in 2006, and were an on and off couple. The reality star told People she was unattached in October, and sources confirmed to the magazine Brown was single at the time of her death.
