Laila Ali two-stepped down the aisle this weekend, as the fourth season Dancing with the Stars third-place celebrity finisher married retired NFL wide receiver Curtis Conway, People reported Sunday.

The wedding was held in Los Angeles on Sunday, according to People, which added among the 200 guests in attendance were Ali's mother Veronica Porsche Anderson; her father, former boxer Muhammad Ali; as well as her sister Hana Ali, who served as a bridesmaid.  Members of Conway's family also participated in the ceremony, with his twin sons -- 12-year-olds Kelton and Cameron -- serving as ring bearers and his 8-year-old daughter Leilani serving as the flower girl, according to People.

Ali and her professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy finished third during Dancing with the Stars' fourth-season finale in May, and while that was definitely an admirable finish for the 29-year-old boxer, she presumably might have been able to step-up her game if she also wasn't in the process of planning her wedding to Conway, a 36-year-old retired NFL receiver.

While Ali wore numerous outfits during her days on Dancing with the Stars, she told People in April she didn't want a "big poufy dress" for her wedding and instead chose a champagne-colored silk charmeuse strapless mermaid gown by Amy Michelson.

"Laila's approach to the wedding was simple but elegant," wedding coordinator Juliet Ryan told People. "There were no lions and tigers and bears. It was about the love."

Ali and Conway first met two years ago when he hosted a small gathering at his house which she attended with a friend, according to People, which added he proposed last Thanksgiving.
