A family source has confirmed Bruce Jenner's more feminine appearance is part of his planned transition.

The 65-year-old "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star recently has been making headlines with his longer hair, fuller lips and polished nails.

"Bruce is transitioning to a woman," an insider told People magazine. "He is finally happy and his family is accepting of what he's doing. He's in such a great space. That's why it's the perfect time to do something like this."

A second source has confirmed the former Olympic runner is filming his journey for a docu-series to run later this year.

"It will air when he is ready to be open about his transition," the source said. "But he's acting more and more confident and seems very happy."

Jenner and his wife Kris divorced in 2014 after 23 years of marriage. They have two daughters together -- Kylie and Kendall Jenner. Jenner is also the father of four other children -- Burt, Casey, Brandon and Brody Jenner -- and the step-father to Jenner's four children -- Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian.
