Gwen Stefani is adding lipstick design to her long list of forthcoming projects.

The 45-year-old singer, designer and "The Voice" mentor, who is often seen sporting different shades of red lip color, told People magazine Tuesday she is "working on some lipsticks."

"This red that I'm wearing right now is a prototype," said Stefani. "I wear so many different shades, but I'm not super into the orange-reds."

Stefani has been involved with fashion and style for a long time and launched the clothing line L.A.M.B. in 2003. When asked about her ever-chaging sense of fashion, the No Doubt vocalist said she's "always evolving."

"I think that style is also your personality, so I'm always going to be the same person," she said. "What I wore in a high school is a version of what I wear now. I still love Hollywood glamour; I still love everything old school."

In addition to the her new makeup product, Steffani is currently working on two albums: one as a solo artist and one with No Doubt.

The singer recently completed a stint as mentor on the singing competition "The Voice" and is set to perform a duet with fellow mentor Adam Levine at the Grammy Awards 2015.
