While Bravo has yet to reveal their identities, a January report claimed the cast will include Kathy Hilton's sisters Kim and Kyle Richards as well as Villa Blanca restaurant owner Lisa Todd.

"Lisa, Kim and Kyle are all hideously wealthy," a source told RadarOnline at the time. "They live in these amazing houses, drive beautiful cars, live these fabulous lives and spend money like it's going out of fashion."

Reports of the project first surfaced last May after casting notices seeking "outgoing, exciting, strong, focused women who reside in and around the Beverly Hills area that want to share their lives" were released.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is being produced by Evolution Media -- the same production company behind the franchise's Orange County installment.

Bravo announced the series pickup as part of a larger announcement in which the network unveiled plans to expand to an unspecified fifth night of original programming and film all future programming in high-definition.

In addition, the network also announced the renewals of The Fashion Show, Million Dollar Listing and Tabatha's Salon Takeover; the pickups three new Social Club, Million Dollar Decorators and Pregnant In Heels docu-dramas; and the development of five additional reality projects -- including a docu-reality series starring former So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Mia Michaels.
