The 33-year-old singer and 29-year-old actor said in an interview Wednesday with Entertainment Tonight that filming their E! series, "Ashlee and Evan," has been a great experience thus far.

"It is definitely something new for us, but something fun and we've had a good time doing it," Ashlee said while attending NBC's summer press day.

Ashlee and Evan will follow the couple's day-to-day life and their collaboration on a joint album. The pair confirmed their daughter, 2-year-old Jagger Snow, and Ashlee's son, 9-year-old Bronx Mowgli, will appear on the show.

"It's impossible to keep them away because we're with them every day, so they will be, but we're strategic in how we do that," Ross said. "We don't overdo it with them."

The series may also feature Simpson's sister, singer and designer Jessica Simpson, and Ross' mom and sister, singer Diana Ross and actress Tracee Ellis Ross.

"It's a surprise," Ross said. "There's going to be some people that you'll see. The support of our families has been wonderful."

Ross also promoted the show by sharing a photo with Simpson Wednesday on Instagram.
