Bethenny Frankel, one of 16 competing for a $250,000 job on the NBC reality TV show, dated Brian Koppelman, the newspaper reported Sunday.

His father, Charles Koppelman, is chairman of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and will -- along with Stewart's daughter, Alexis -- help decide who gets fired and who keeps going each week, the Post said.

A spokesman for Mark Burnett Productions told the Post "the situation is dealt with in the first few minutes" of the show's Sept. 21 premiere.

"Viewers will have to tune in to see what happens," the spokesman said.

Frankel is the daughter of world-renowned horse trainer Bobby Frankel, the Post said.
