Piers Morgan gave his girlfriend the perfect birthday present.

"Piers has taken the plunge and proposed to his girlfriend of four years, Celia Walden - and she said yes!" reads a Thursday post on Morgan's website.

"The happy event took place last week in that most romantic of cities - Paris, where the couple were celebrating Celia's birthday."

The America's Got Talent judge and The Celebrity Apprentice first-season winner had his divorce with ex-wife Marion Shalloe finalized in 2008. The couple has three sons together.

Morgan's parenting skills were questioned by Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth during The Celebrity Apprentice's Spring 2008 first season, and she was also ousted by Donald Trump during a boardroom session in which she claimed he was gay.

The two exchanged unpleasantness throughout the season, as Morgan called her a "pointless celebrity wannabe idiot" and "gobby, self-confident creature" while Manigault-Stallworth  accused him of being an alcoholic.
