Over the course of ten half-hour episodes, "My Life Is A Sitcom" puts the "my family is funnier than any sitcom" theory to the test, focusing on a search to find America's funniest family. Eight families were selected from nationwide videotape submissions and will be profiled with one of the series' writers flying to the family's hometown to observe them in action. At the end of each episode a celebrity judging panel, consisting of three of television's most recognizable sitcom stars, evaluate the family.

Nine couples escape to the beautiful Hawaiian Islands to participate in "The Last Resort," an exciting reality series hosted by Hawaiian native Kala'i Miller. The series takes a glimpse into the lives of couples in crisis who leave all distractions behind to concentrate on their relationships. In one week the couples must utilize relationship counseling sessions and physical challenges to find out if they can bring back the passion they once had, or if it is time for them to go their separate ways.

On the "My Life Is A Sitcom" panel is Maureen McCormick of the all-time classic sitcom "The Brady Bunch." The "Sitcom" judges will eliminate families and select two finalists who will fly to Los Angeles to compete head-to-head in a screen test. From this screen test, the celebrity judges will choose the nation's funniest family to star in a sitcom based on their real lives. The series culminates with the premiere of the family's scripted sitcom pilot, so viewers can see if they are telling the truth when they say, "My Life Is A Sitcom."

In "The Last Resort," couples will be encouraged to explore the strength and resolve of their relationships as they are constantly made to deal with their emotions and come to terms with how they must change for their relationships to continue. Their compelling stories will unfold three couples at a time over five Monday nights (15 episodes total). MY LIFE IS A SITCOM is produced by Nash Entertainment, with series creator Bruce Nash (NBC's "Meet My Folks," "Before They Were Stars," "TV Road Trip") and David Perler ("Popstars," "The Rosie O'Donnell Show") serving as executive producers. THE LAST RESORT is produced by Buena Vista Productions and Fisher Entertainment ("The Other Half"), in association with Wheeler/Sussman Productions ("Singled Out"), and executive produced by Sharon Sussman, Burt Wheeler, Alan Winters and Mark Stendal.
