90 Day Fiance: The Other Way couple Tiffany Franco and Ronald Smith have announced they've split amid cheating allegations.

Tiffany took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, January 28 to reveal her marriage to Ronald is failing less than seven months after the pair welcomed a daughter, Carley Rose, together.

"Unfortunately I have to announce that Ronald and I will be separating. I wanted to be the first to let you know rather than hiding it and putting on a facade for social media," Tiffany wrote in her Instagram Stories.

"Thank you guys for following our story, we really love each other but some things are just irreparable. We both deserve much better than we can offer at the moment."

While Tiffany didn't get into specifics, Ronald did have a gambling addiction in the past as well as a criminal record that prevented him from moving to the United States.

Tiffany signed the message, "Lots of love from us," suggesting the pair had ended on amicable terms and this was intended to be a joint statement.

However, Ronald posted his side of the story and accused Tiffany of infidelity shortly afterwards on his own Instagram Stories, according to E! News.

"Thank you for following our story but unfortunately it just didn't work for me. I'll be filing for divorce since in [South Africa] since she isn't even registered in USA as married. Talk about adultery," Ronald wrote in a since-deleted post.

Tiffany then firmly denied Ronald's allegations in a second post to her Instagram Stories that shed a little more light into the couple's issues.

"When a toxic person can no longer manipulate you, they will try to manipulate the way others see you. Truer words have never been spoken. I wish nothing but good things for Ronald but I won't waste one more second being taken for granted and being unhappy," Tiffany wrote.

"I never cheated. That is what I'm assuming is an attempt at trying to make me seem like the cause of the separation, but I want you all to know I really don't like putting all of this on social media but obviously I know our relationship is very public and I owe this to all of you."

Tiffany continued in her lengthy post, "But that is all I will share for now. He can continue to lash out and say all the negative things he wants about me. All I did was love him too much and try hard to make things work."

Tiffany and Ronald appeared to have a falling out in recent days because Ronald gushed about his wife on Instagram just last week.

"I truly with out a doubt have the cutest and most beautiful wife @tiffanyfrancosmith and blessed with 2 gorgeous kids. just look at them !!!! #proudAF #prouddad #proudhusband @tlcupdates @90dayfiancenews @90dayfiancetheotherway #90dayfiance_tlc #90dayfiancetheotherway #90dayfiance," Ronald captioned a slideshow of family photos on January 19.

In addition to Carley, whom Tiffany gave birth to in July 2019, Tiffany is also a mom to Daniel, her son from a previous relationship.

While Tiffany and Ronald were dating and married, Ronald had become a father figure to Daniel -- who was eight years old when he appeared on the TLC franchise -- since the boy's biological father was not in the picture.

Based on what was shown on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Daniel absolutely loved and adored Ronald.

Tiffany was a 27-year-old from Frederick, MD, and Ronald was a 29-year-old from South Africa when they starred on the debut season of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way last year.

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way followed American citizens moving across the globe and living in foreign countries for the sake of love and their future partners.

The Americans had 90 days to wed in order to stay in their new countries, and Tiffany and Ronald's October 20, 2018 wedding was shown on the TLC reality series.

But because South Africa turned out to be a dangerous place to live for Tiffany's young children, Tiffany decided to move back to the United States and attempt to relocate Ronald to America on a spousal visa.

During Part 1 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's Tell-All special, which aired in October 2019, Tiffany said she and Ronald were still a family but life in the United States was "so much harder" than she ever could have anticipated without her husband by her side.

In Part 2 of the Tell-All special, Tiffany revealed she had already purchased plane tickets so she and her children could visit Ronald again in South Africa soon.

Ronald, however, had yet to apply for the visa because he said it was going to cost him a lot of money.

"If Ronald's visa does not get approved, that's something we're going to have to face if it happens, but I'm not making a plan for that," Tiffany said on the show.

Tiffany said at the time she wouldn't accept anything other than Ronald coming to the United States because she simply wasn't ready to move her kids to another country.

Although the couple continued to live apart after the show, they documented their love story on social media and there didn't appear to be any real trouble in paradise.

Tiffany and Ronald maintained faith they could get through anything together, and although they both acknowledged it would be very difficult to get Ronald over to America, they remained optimistic.
