But according to Pattiya, she reached her breaking point and dumped the Australian model and exotic dancer after dating him on and off for years.
"After 12 years together and approaching our 13th, I have made the difficult decision to end my relationship with Dylan," Pattiya captioned a video featuring some of the pair's memories together.
"I understand that Dylan may not want our relationship to end, but I can no longer continue living through the distance, uncertainty, and constant cycle of being together and apart."
Pattiya said she "waited 12 years" for her relationship with Dylan "to truly move forward" -- and she's had enough.
"[I] held on through so much, and gave it more chances than I can count. But I cannot keep waiting and hoping for a future that may never come," Pattiya shared.
"As much as I have loved him, love alone is not always enough to make a relationship healthy or sustainable. This relationship has taken an emotional toll on me, and I have finally realized that I must choose what is best for my own peace and happiness."
The exotic dancer from Las Vegas went on to "sincerely" wish Dylan well.
"And I hope he finds the happiness, fulfillment, and whatever it is he is still seeking in life," she continued.
"I will always appreciate the memories and the years we shared, but for me, this chapter is permanently closed. This is my decision, and I am asking that it be respected."
Pattiya then thanked fans for their support and asked for "kindness and respect" as the former couples moves "forward through this change."

Over the video footage, Pattiya also wrote, "After 12 years together, our journey has officially come to an end. Long distance and the constant back and forth have taken an emotional toll on me. I wish Dylan well as we go our separate ways. Goodbye to this chapter. I'm choosing peace."
Just one day earlier, Dylan had suggested on his own Instagram account that his and Pattiya's story was still being written.
"Who knows... maybe our story isn't finished on your TV screens just yet," Dylan captioned TLC footage of the former couple on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way.
But Dylan also admitted to his followers that Pattiya wasn't happy in Australia.
"Looking back at this [footage], I really was hoping Pattiya would fall in love with Tasmania the way I had. The rolling green hills, the fresh air, the nature, the local produce, the slower pace of life," Dylan recalled.
"I thought maybe she'd come down from Texas, experience that simple Tassie lifestyle and think, 'Yep... I could actually live here.' If you watched our whole journey on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, you already know it didn't exactly work out that way."

"Sometimes you can love someone and still have two completely different ideas of what 'home' looks like," he continued.
"But I know so many of you followed our story, laughed with us, yelled at the TV with us, and probably wondered what happened after the cameras stopped rolling."
Pattiya and Dylan's relationship clearly took a turn since February, when the pair had confirmed they were still together and thriving in Tasmania.
On one of Dylan's posts about Pattiya, she commented, "Surprise y'all. We're still together, still engaged, and very happy."
"What you saw had ups and downs, but real love doesn't quit," she added. "Thank you for watching our story play out on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. This one's real."

Pattiya also insisted that 90 Day Fiance viewers only saw "a small part of a much bigger story" on TLC.
On Part 2 of the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Season 7 Tell All that aired on TLC earlier this year, Pattiya confirmed that she and Dylan were still engaged.
However, Pattiya was back living in Texas because she said living in a small town -- with Dylan's mother Jo so close by -- wasn't working for her.
Dylan actually rated Pattiya and Jo's relationship "a minus 10" on a scale from 1-10, and Pattiya called Dylan and his mother's dynamic "toxic."
Dylan acknowledged that he "couldn't breathe" without Pattiya and so he needed to make a lifestyle change.
"I'll be in the States in a couple of weeks. I'll have three months there... and Pattiya and I are going to be working on the K-1 visa," Dylan announced.

Dylan went on to reiterate how he was scheduled to arrive in the United States in two weeks and planned to start the K-1 visa paperwork upon his arrival, which he anticipated would take about 10 months to get approved.
Jo gave Dylan her blessing to move on the show, saying it was wonderful that Dylan was about to embark on this new adventure with his fiancee.
Pattiya cried, saying she wished Jo had blessed her relationship with Dylan a long time ago.
"This is all I wanted -- for 12 years," Pattiya sobbed.
