When CBS announced Big Brother 27's houseguests on July 8, it also released a composite graphic featuring photos of the 16 new houseguests and the "Mystery Player's" silhouette.
In its press release which contained the identities of the houseguests and composite graphic, the network also oddly stated "Big Brother announced today the 16 new Houseguests and a clue to one 'Mystery Player'" -- suggesting the press release itself contained a clue.
The photos and silhouette appear to have been intentionally laid out to form "11DX", with the "11" being formed by two columns that each display photos of three houseguests.
"DX" is a match for Derek Xiao's initials and nickname. Meanwhile, 2 columns with 3 houseguests may suggest the number 23 -- which is the Big Brother season Derek originally competed on.
In addition, the two "1"s may also be intended to represent Ace cards -- a reference to Derek having been a member of Big Brother 23's Aces team.
