America's first openly transgendered mayor is reportedly ready to star in a reality show.
"I think it will be an interesting project if it comes together, but I think we have to be on top of this to make sure that it shows Silverton in the best possible light," Rasmussen told the Salem Statesman Journal, according to Broadcasting & Cable.
RDF USA -- whose reality credits include Fox's Secret Millionaire and Don't Forget the Lyrics, ABC's Wife Swap, and The CW's Hitched or Ditched -- confirmed that the company has shot footage in Silverton, which it will now review with its development team, according to Broadcasting & Cable. The 60-year-old Rasmussen is also a software engineer and co-owner of the Palace Theatre in Silverton.
