VIDEO: Behind the scenes of 'Survivor: China' with Jeff Probst, Part 1
By Steve Rogers, 09/13/2007
Every Survivor viewer knows the castaways are trying to "Outwit. Outplay. Outlast." But have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes on a Survivor shoot? Now's your chance to find out.
This summer, Survivor host Jeff Probst filmed a series of personal videos that take viewers behind the scenes of Survivor: China's production. The first video (available below) takes viewers on a tour of "base camp," the production's on-site nerve center, and includes visits to everything from production and art offices to the challenge and marine departments.
Check back later today for a behind-the-scenes look at Survivor's "Dream Team," the folks who test the challenges before the castaways try them. Additional behind-the-scenes videos will be posted daily next week and feature segments on what it takes to get Probst to a challenge site, how a challenge goes from inception to execution, a tour of the Tribal Council set, and an inside look at a day-in-the-life of Probst.
