VH1 has announced New York Goes to Hollywood, a spin-off of the network's I Love New York reality dating series that will follow Tiffany Pollard as she heads to Tinsel Town to become an actress, will premiere Monday, August 4 at 10PM ET/PT.

New York Goes to Hollywood will follow Pollard as she packs up and heads out west sans George "Tailor Made" Weisgerber -- who proposed to her at the conclusion of I Love New York's second-season finale last fall.

While Pollard didn't accept the proposal, she did present her final chain to him over Ezra "Buddha" Masters.  She subsequently accepted Weisgerber's proposal during the second-season reunion show.

Weisgerber is staying behind in the Big Apple due to his job as a Mark Ecko executive and to be with his 12-year-old daughter Asia.

Since she finally found love after being spurned twice by Flavor Flav during Flavor of Love's first two seasons and again by Patrick "Tango" Hunter during I Love New York's first-season reunion show, the premise of Pollard's most recent reality venture shouldn't come as a surprise.

Pollard has frequently mentioned her affinity for acting.  She recently guest starred as herself on FX's Nip/Tuck and also had a cameo in the David Talbert film First Sunday, which co-starred Ice Cube and Tracy Morgan.

VH1 ordered New York Goes To Hollywood earlier this year, and it's created and executive produced by Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego for Mindless Entertainment and 51 Pictures -- which also produces VH1's Rock of Love, Flavor of Love, Charm School, The Surreal Life and My Fair Brady "Celebreality" shows.
