Despite putting him "on the back burner" as she moves to Hollywood and tries and make it big in Tinsel Town, George "Tailor Made" Weisgerber says he's still with Tiffany "New York" Pollard.

"Tiffany and I are very happy together," the second-season I Love New York winner told People.  "We will make this work."

VH1 had announced Weisgerber's "back burner" status in last week's formal announcement of New York Loves Hollywood, which will follow the former I Love New York star's attempt to become a legitimate actress.

"In order to focus on her new mission, New York has to put her last conquest -- Tailor Made -- on the back burner as she tries to take on Tinsel Town," VH1 stated in its announcement.

Weisgerber is staying behind in the Big Apple due to his job as a Mark Ecko executive and to be with his 12-year-old daughter Asia, People reported.

"I have so much respect for Tiffany and support her career.  She is very talented and has a great future as an actress, Weisgerber told People.  "Her show is going to be a huge success."

The I Love New York second-season winner said his ability to live on his own is one of the qualities that Pollard was attracted to.

"One of the reasons I appealed to her so much is that -- unlike a lot of the other guys on the show -- I am independent and self-motivated and I have a career and won't be riding on her coattails," he told People

Plus Weisgerber is only a plane-ride away.

"I'll visit her as much as I can," he told People.
