VH1 to debut 'But Can They Sing?' celebrity reality show on October 30

VH1 has announced "But Can They Sing?," an "American Idol"-type competition pitting an eclectic group of celebrities against each other.

The competitors include Joe Pantoliano, Ralphie from "The Sopranos"; Michael Copon of "Power Rangers Time Force"; former heavyweight champ Larry Holmes; night-time soap opera queen Morgan Fairchild and model Kim Alexis.
Also showing off their pipes -- or not -- will be "The Bold and the Beautiful's" Antonio Sabato Jr., Univision host Myrka Dellanos and Carmine Gotti of "Growing Up Gotti."
Viewers will decide each week who stays and who goes with the prize money being donated to the winner's favorite charity.
"But Can They Sing?" is scheduled to debut on VH1 Oct. 30.
