Vera Farmiga's publicist has confirmed the U.S. actress gave birth to a daughter Thursday, UsMagazine.com said.
Farmiga and her husband, carpenter and musician Renn Hawkey, have a toddler son named Fynn.
The actress is best known for her work in "Up in the Air" and "The Departed."
