The Voice is done discovering its newest batch of voices.

The Voice's musician coaches Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton completed their third-season teams and finished determining the NBC reality singing competition's 64 artists during Monday night's broadcast.

With the selection of the final 64 artists during the show's "blind auditions" phase over, The Voice's third season will now feature "battle" rounds beginning with a two-hour episode on Monday, October 8 at 8PM ET/PT.

The "battle" rounds will follow Aguilera, Green, Levine, and Shelton and their musical advisors as they train and mentor their selected team members before having them square-off two at a time in a series of singing face-offs that will decide which of the two gets to remain on their coach's team and advance in the competition.

However, unlike in The Voice's first two seasons, the losing artist of each face-off will not automatically be eliminated from the competition.  Instead, each coach will be allowed to "steal" two losing face-off contestants from the other coaches and add them to his or her own team -- resulting in each coach ending the "battle" rounds with 10 artists.

Similar to the "blind auditions" phase, if more than one coach wants to "steal" the artist in question, it will be up to the contestant to decide which coach's team he or she would like to join.

Following the "battle" rounds, The Voice's third season will also reportedly feature a new two-week "knockout round" in which each coach will whittle his or her team down to five singers and determine the 20 contestants who will advance to the season's live performance shows.

Aguilera's team will be advised by Green Day's frontman Billie Joe Armstrong during the "battle" rounds, while Levine will team up with singer Mary J. Blige, Shelton will work with crooner Michael Buble, and Green will be assisted by Matchbox 20 frontman and soloist Rob Thomas.
