'The Simple Life 2' looking for host families

By Reality TV World staff, 02/03/2004

Bunim-Murray Productions, the producers of FOX's hit The Simple Life reality series, have announced that they will soon begin open casting calls looking for families that are willing to host Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie during their Simple Life 2 road trip.

Unlike most reality programs, videotape submissions will not be accepted for the second season of The Simple Life, only in-person auditions at the show's soon-to-be-announced open casting call locations will be permitted.

According to Bunim-Murray's casting website, families interested in applying should bring a photo ID of every family member who is age 18 and older. A recent group photo of the family is also recommended. All photos should have the full name and age of the family member written clearly on the back of the picture.

Entire families will not be required to attend the casting calls, however recent photos of all family members who can not attend will be required. Additionally, if a family makes it beyond the open casting call, all family members must be available the day following the casting call in order to be considered. For instance, don’t come to a casting call if everyone else in your family lives across the country.
