"Yes, [we've discussed marriage]! Jason, 31, told Us Weekly late last week, later adding, "The next sequence for us is that step, so it's exciting times."

Jason said it's "very humbling" and "exciting" fans are curious about the future of his relationship.

"What's so nice about people asking about the next step is that I think it's a result of their support, right?" Jason noted. "I think that people are interested in what's next for us."

Jason, however, seemed to admit fans won't really influence his decision on when to pop the question.

"Kaitlyn and I have always said no matter what happens in our relationship, however we feel, we are going to do what we think makes sense so that we feel good about it at the end of the day," Jason shared.

"Whether it's sharing a photo, sharing our feelings, whether it's raw, whether it's an argument or it's us being lovey-dovey, one thing that we've always done is stay true to ourselves, so we're going to continue to do that."

Jason reportedly said it's possible he may propose marriage to Kaitlyn before the end of the year is up.

"There could be" a 2020 engagement, according to Jason.

"I don't feel any pressure because we'll move at the pace that makes sense for us," he explained.

Prior to dating, Jason competed for Becca Kufrin's heart on The Bachelorette's fourteenth season and Kaitlyn found fame on Chris Soules' The Bachelor edition before starring on The Bachelorette's eleventh season.

Jason told Us that being romantically involved with Kaitlyn has helped him grow as a man.

"She has helped me become more comfortable in my skin," Jason gushed.

"I think as a corporate banker and in my past, you're always taught to be a little polished and politically correct, and Kaitlyn has just allowed me to just be more comfortable with myself and realize, like, when you make mistakes, it's almost better to own it and share it because you can empower someone that's also made the same mistake."

"So it's one thing that I've learned from her is she continues to be unapologetically herself," he added, "and she'll relentlessly fight for what's right, and that's something she's definitely taught me."

In December 2019, Kaitlyn and Jason announced they had adopted a golden retriever together named Pinot. The couple already shared a sweet dog named Ramen.

Jason and Kaitlyn began dating in January 2019, nearly three months after Kaitlyn had announced her split from then-fiance, Shawn Booth, who had proposed marriage on The Bachelorette's Season 11 finale in 2015.

Kaitlyn and Jason -- a Buffalo, NY, native -- subsequently moved in together in Nashville, TN, in June of that year and adopted Ramen from South Korea. Jason had relocated from his place in Seattle, WA, to be with the podcast host.

Kaitlyn and Jason have since openly discussed their romance and wanting to welcome children together down the road.
