The Bachelorette alum Blake Moynes has responded to rumors he's up for consideration to star on one of the two new The Bachelor seasons that will allegedly air next year.

Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone reported late last month that The Bachelor will be airing two seasons of the show, Season 26 -- starring Michelle Young's The Bachelorette suitor Clayton Echard -- and Season 27 in 2022.

After Blake and fiancee Katie Thurston announced their split in late October, rumors began swirling that ABC is eyeing Blake to star on The Bachelor's 27th season.

According to the @Deuxmoi Instagram gossip account, ABC is considering Blake as the leading man for Season 27 due to his "really big personality" and similar The Bachelor franchise storyline to Nick Viall, who had competed on The Bachelorette twice -- on Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe's seasons -- before starring on Season 21 in 2017.

The Bachelor's 27th season is expected to begin filming in February 2022 and premiere in Spring 2022, and so Blake addressed the casting speculation during Wednesday's episode of "Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation," a podcast hosted by The Bachelorette alums Bryan Abasolo and Mike Johnson.

After dating Clare Crawley, Tayshia Adams and Katie, Mike joked with Blake that his heart may need a break.

"But answer this one for me: are you going to be the next Bachelor?" Mike asked.

"No," Blake, 31, replied. "I am in no way prepared to go through meeting 30 women, especially after all that. I think my ego is hurt right now, you know?"

Blake admitted, "I feel like an idiot with how things played out and when you're so sure about something," considering he only dated Katie for six months and they had broken off their engagement only two months after the marriage proposal aired on The Bachelorette's seventeenth season finale in August.

"I feel like I found my rock, and to all of a sudden turn that rock and try to find another one, you know, within the timeframe that we have, no," Blake said.

"Will I over time when I'm ready start to trickle out and start dating again in the real world? Yes. Because I'm trying to find my person, that's what I'm trying to do."

Blake said he's not going to wait for Bachelor in Paradise to come around all the while claiming he's not ready to date again.

"No. When I'm ready in the real world, I'll start dating in the real world," Blake confirmed. "And I hopefully will find my person. I am not thinking about a show."

Blake continued, "[The Bachelor] seems hectic to me and exhausting, and so, I'll be dating in the real world when I'm ready, and I don't know when that will be."

Blake joked that in two more episodes, however, he'll be showing up on Michelle Young's The Bachelorette season.

"No, we won't see him on Michelle's season -- we'll see him on Paradise in Summer 2022!" Mike pushed and probed.

"No," Blake countered. "I think you would be very surprised to find me there. ABC and the show has been very, very good to me and always checking on me with how the breakup has been going."

Blake recalled, "One thing I did say to one of them was, 'I'm done, man. I'm done thinking I know I've found my person and coming out gunning for someone, I am done. I'm sitting back and not chasing again on this f-cking show -- ever. Like, I can't. I just can't.'"

Blake admitted he had put himself out there "too many times" and was "too bold in thinking" he knew exactly what he wants and would find it on a reality TV show.

"And then I get there and it all falls apart," Blake lamented. "And so my approach is completely different in life now. [It's], 'Let it come to me naturally, maybe in the real world...' I'm done."

Blake concluded, "I failed that way three times already and with the whole world watching. So let's try a different approach."

Bryan, however, sought clarification on whether "the door is completely closed" to Blake ever appearing on The Bachelor or Bachelor in Paradise.

"[The door is closed] pretty well. I really hope to find a person in real life, to be honest," Blake concluded.

After striking out on The Bachelorette's sixteenth season with both Clare and Tayshia, Blake got engaged to Katie on Season 17 in April.

Less than a month after announcing their breakup, Katie went Instagram official on November 23 with her new boyfriend, John Hersey, a 27-year-old San Diego bartender who got eliminated from Katie's The Bachelorette season in Week 2 of the process.

Blake admitted he was "flabbergasted" and "speechless" upon discovering Katie had moved on from their failed engagement so quickly.

"I don't think there was any physical cheating there, but there's clearly emotional [cheating] for it to transition as quickly as it did [from friendship to romance]," Blake explained on "Talking It Out."

Blake called Katie's romance "a bomb drop" on him and said he feels "stupid and foolish for allowing it to happen."

Blake said John must have provided Katie with something the Canadian wildlife manager couldn't, and although their breakup was "mutual," Blake believes Katie's feelings for John may have helped her engagement to "abruptly end the way it did and as easy as it did."

"Was he always in her back pocket?" Blake wondered. "I don't know... She must have at least had some emotional connection, right?! It happened too quickly! How? Two weeks after?! There had to have been something there."

Speculation Katie and John are dating have swirled for quite some time now, even though Katie had been engaged to Blake prior to the big announcement of their split late last month.

This past summer, Katie posted footage of herself at a bar John works at in San Diego, which prompted rumors John may have been the winner of her The Bachelorette season.

However, The Bachelorette viewers saw Katie eliminate John during Week 2 of the process and eventually accept a marriage proposal from Blake on the Season 17 finale.

Katie proceeded to move to San Diego and continue hanging out with John while Blake traveled to Africa to pursue his wildlife conservation efforts.

Katie and Blake attempted to make a long-distance relationship work as people simultaneously questioned if sparks were flying between Katie and John.

"Internet rumors lead me to this guy becoming a dear dear friend," Katie reportedly wrote on Instagram in September after enjoying a day out with John in California.

While Katie was trying to mend her broken heart in late October, she uploaded a photo of John's dog to her Instagram Story and wrote, "Dexter forcing me out of the house this morning."

Katie had addressed the John dating rumors in early November but danced around an official confirmation or denial.

At the time, Katie shared a throwback video of "the first time I saw John since filming" on her Instagram Story that showed Polaroid photos of the supposed close pals playing cards together, Us Weekly reported.

"Y'all getting wild in my DMs," Katie wrote along with a laughing emoticon on November 7.

A source told Us earlier this month that Katie has found "clarity" and now "knows what she wants in a husband" after her failed engagement to Blake.

But when Katie accepted Blake's marriage proposal on The Bachelorette, she seemed totally convinced that he was The One for her.

"I think everyone can agree that this is exactly who I was supposed to be with. He fought to be here for me and chose to stay even when I'm telling him to his face that I considered leaving," Katie said on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose.

"That he was confident enough to hold both of us [until] the end. I'm just so lucky. I love him so much."

Blake recently admitted his breakup with Katie "hasn't been easy."

Katie previously hinted on social media that she and Blake were fighting too much during their six-month relationship and broke up due to their different communication styles.

She suggested that Blake was unable to make her happy and vice versa, and Blake shared on "Talking It Out" how he and the former bank marketing manager from Washington have different love languages and sometimes butt heads because of their similarities.

An insider told The Sun that Katie's "outbursts eventually became too much" for Blake "to handle."

On November 1, Blake shared on Instagram how he had been relying on family, friends and his dogs to get him through his breakup with Katie.

"When times are really tough and things just aren't going the way you had hoped... it's always the same 'gang' that gets ya back on your feet," Blake wrote at the time.

Blake said it felt good to "start getting back into the swing of things."
