'Survivor' host Jeff Probst and 'Vanuatu's Julie Berry no longer dating

Jeff Probst and Julie Berry have apparently snuffed the torch on their romantic relationship.

"Sadly, Julie and I are not dating anymore," the Survivor host told the Philippine Daily Inquirer in a Sunday report.

Probst and Berry began dating in August 2004 following filming for Survivor: Vanuatu, in which Berry was the fourteenth castaway booted.

"I didn't know that I was going to fall in love at the time," Probst told the Daily Inquirer.  "Later, after the show was over, I asked our psychologist, 'What do you think of Julie?' She said, 'I can't really tell you much' and then she told me one personal thing."

Despite being unaware that he'd subsequently fall in love, Probst said he was in awe of Berry's beauty the moment he saw her during casting.

"Honestly, I was so struck by her beauty when she walked in," he told the Daily Inquirer.  "I threw the paper down. I was like, 'I know I'm voting for you to be on the show.'"

While Probst and Berry are no longer an item, he seemed to have no regrets about the relationship.

"It was a good love affair," he told the Daily Inquirer.
