"You know, she had an amazing five years on the show, and she learned so much from Joan [Rivers]," she told "Extra's" Mario Lopez.

"It was just her time. She's got to grow up, move into the big world," she added.

The E! Network announced Kelly Osbourne's departure from the show in February, a week after she expressed disapproval in the face of former co-panelist Giuliana Rancic's comments that Zendaya's dreadlocks smelled of weed and patchouli oil at the the Oscars.

Kelly Osbourne said during an appearance on "The Talk" on Tuesday she "learned so much [from 'Fashion Police'] and [is] excited for [her] future."

"I want to try new things," she added.

Reality stars Khloe Kardashian and NeNe Leakes are believed to be contenders for her replacement.
