Sarah Silverman to host Mark Burnett-produced MTV Movie Awards

Comedian-actor-writer Sarah Silverman will add another hosting entry to her resume when she emcees the "MTV Movie Awards" from Universal City in June.

The awards special is scheduled for June 3 and, for the first time, will be broadcast live, Variety reported Friday.

Silverman was the host for the Independent Spirit Awards in February.

Reality TV producer Mark Burnett is producing the MTV special, which includes a site on Yahoo! to drive online and network traffic.
