An X-rated blow-up doll crafted in the image of U.S. actress Sarah Jessica Parker of "Sex and the City" fame raises legal questions, a lawyer says.

The inflatable doll from a California company, Pipedream Products, uses references from the popular HBO series in the packaging for its Parker look-alike sex doll, the New York Post reported Sunday.
The product's labeling was also done in a style reminiscent of typical "Sex" typography, the newspaper said.
Intellectual-property attorney Brian Brokate suggested HBO officials could take legal action against the manufacturers of the sex doll as it clearly appears to take advantage of the "Sex" trademark.
"I would think HBO would make an effort to stop this on the basis of trademark infringement," Brokate told the Post.
"The courts don't look kindly on this type of thing, which demeans the show and tarnishes the star's image."
A film version of "City" is due out in U.S. theaters this year.
