Actor Vince Vaughn, who has been dating "Friends" actress Jennifer Aniston, reportedly proposed marriage on their return trip from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

"They're engaged!" a friend of theirs told Us Weekly. "Vince almost cries whenever he tells the story of the proposal."

The couple took a nine-day holiday to the $25 million estate owned by Joe Francis, founder of "Girls Gone Wild." But that was not where Vaughn of "Wedding Crashers" fame asked for her hand.

"He was going to propose on the beach during the trip, but he chickened out because he wasn't sure if she would accept," the source said.

Vaughn knew he had to leave immediately to film "Into the Wild" in South Dakota, so he asked her in the private jet before it landed in Los Angeles, the magazine said.
