Carrie Underwood can't be beat when it comes to collecting awards, however she apparently continues to be unlucky in love.

The American Idol fourth-season champ and Gossip Girls' actor Chace Crawford have called it quits on their romantic relationship, Us Weekly reported Thursday.  Underwood's representative was not available for comment while Crawford's declined comment.

While Us reported Underwood and Crawford started dating in July, the couple was first spotted together last October at Manhattan's Marquee nightclub and again the following night at the Gramercy Park Hotel's Rose Bar.

"He's really cute," said Underwood about Crawford at the time. "I've met him and he seems like a really nice guy. He's got cool hair, he's a nice height and he just has beautiful blue eyes."

She subsequently spent Thanksgiving at Crawford's parents' house in Dallas and also part of her Christmas break with his relatives, according to Us.

Prior to Crawford, Underwood was romantically linked to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

The two began dating in December 2006 when he officially confirmed they were together after being seen hugging and laughing on the field at Texas Stadium on Christmas Day before a Cowboys' game. However the couple apparently split soon after.

She was then rumored to be dating British singer Oliver Trevena last February before new reports that Underwood and Romo were still romantically involved surfaced in both April and June.  However according to Underwood, the entire Romo romance was a tabloid fabrication.
